A look at the significance of names, how they affect our life and shape the world around us. FIlmmaker Ramin Eshraghi-Yazdi’s interest in the power and influence of names came from a personal struggle. Ramin (pronounced Raw mean) grew up in Canada with a simple but hard to pronounce name. Through a topical and very personal experience that forces Ramin to re-investigate names and their significance on a whole new level, the film traverses multiple name related subjects through discussions with experts, the general public, and artists like Kid Koala, Will Oldham, Andrew Phung, and Missme.
