Comedy
Directed by Jerzy Rose
Cast: Lyra Hill, Bruce Bundy, Ruby McCollister

Director Jerzy Rose crafts a sublime comedy of biting humor and unusual schemes to paint a satirical portrait of millennials and hipsters. When a local business needs to raise its profile, the owners decide to host a food drive. The problem is they have no clue what they are doing—and, after failure after failure, one has to wonder if they are actually benefitting anyone. Relationships become strained as the difficulty of planning such an event consumes everyone. Feelings and emotions need constant validation but only materialize as awkward humor. The moral? Good intentions do not always have good consequences

“ NEIGHBORHOOD FOOD DRIVE is one of the absolute funniest films of the year” – Daily Grindhouse

” It’s a refreshing change of pace from mainstream comedies and their seemingly mandatory gooey, feel-good moments.” – Screen Anarchy
